Send us your stuff. We are looking for art that kills. Literature that
keeps us awake at night, re-reading, thinking, devouring.
Art, Short Stories, Reviews, Photography...give it all to us.
All contributors receive a copy of the magazine and our eternal gratitude.
Ladies, Gentlemen, Children
of all ages and the rest of you freaks,
Death List Five is now
officially a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, (that is over 3000 pages of archaic legal mumbo jumbo to you civilians) luckily
we have our own pro bono legal eagle to navigate when our literary efforts require a law mind, Thanks Tom. Yes, we are barely
legal now. What that means to you is that we can now beg professionally for corporate donations (which they can write off
on their taxes as a charitable donation) and federal grant money to fund this little literary guerrilla operation. We plan
to begin holding fundraisers in order to purchase a bookbinding machine and various other pieces of office equipment. Also we will soon be able to hire a staff of student assistants to help with the day
to day operations because well, begging for money to support the arts is hard work and as much as I am loathed to admit it
I can’t do everything and neither can Jolee. Of course along with a desire to ramp up the quality and numbers of
each run of the magazine we are also going after the big fish of publishing the great white...distributor. Therefore, in the
not too distant future you will be seeing Death List Five with ISBN numbers, in bookstores all over the world! Well that is
our goal anyway, to take this magazine as far as your talent permits. We know that we will never make any money doing this
and that there is no fame for publishers. Still we spend the only commodity we have our time doing this because we love, honor
and respect the writers and artist out there who send us their best work as food for thought, to which all I can say is “...I
won’t waste your food.” –Akira Kurosawa

Thank you all for making the
first year of DL5 absolutely spectacular, it has been my honor to serve you and remember, Submit! God damn it, but never surrender.
